I settle at my favorite corner of the kitchen (actually, I have many favorite spots in my home), hands wrapped around a mug, feeling the quiet urgency that always arrives this time of year.

The start of my workday rarely looks glamorous. Most mornings, you’ll find me curled up on the couch, laptop balanced on my knees, still in soft clothes and fuzzy socks. It’s a familiar ritual: opening my computer, maybe answering a few emails before the day really begins.

But as tabs load and notifications ping, a quiet heaviness sometimes settles in. I notice the tension in my shoulders, that subtle question: Am I doing enough with all this tech, or just trying to keep up?
